What You Need
Step-by-Step Guide
Check Your Phone's NFC
Go to Settings > Connected devices > NFC and make sure NFC is enabled. Most Android phones since 2015 have NFC built-in. iPhones have NFC but with limited write capabilities — for full cloning, use Android.
Install NFC Clone
Download NFC Clone from Google Play Store. It's free, lightweight, and requires no root access. The app works on Android 5.0 and above.
Read the Source Tag
Open NFC Clone and tap 'Read'. Hold your source NFC tag (access card, key fob, sticker) against the back of your phone. The NFC antenna is usually in the upper half. The app will read all NDEF data and show you the tag details.
Review Tag Data
NFC Clone displays the tag type, UID, memory size, and all NDEF records. Verify that all data was read correctly before proceeding to clone.
Write to Target Tag
Tap 'Clone' and hold your blank target NFC tag against your phone. NFC Clone writes all NDEF records to the new tag. For bulk cloning, use premium mode to write to multiple tags in sequence.
Verify the Clone
Scan the newly written tag with NFC Clone to verify all data was copied correctly. Compare NDEF records side by side with the original.
